Multnomah Community Television in Gresham, Oregon has always been a key component to the utilization of my creative flow
of energy. Public Access Television, while boasting the "Poor Sister to Mainstream Media" approach harbors many genres of
outreach, and specialty programming not seen anywhere else, and I feel the GOLDEN AGE of Publicly Franchised Media is in the
works.. Community Television puts the 1st Ammendment powers of the United States into our own hands with the ability to provide
for the Neo-Non-Meltingpot of the masses.
In addition to the 1,000's of hours I've logged at MCTV, I also began interning for Portland Community Media in
the Summer of 2004, where I assist with classes, programs and learn from a broad spectrum of information about how a
non-commercial station is actually run!! :)
Fun fun fun!!
After a very long stint of hiatus, I'm beginning to find my land legs in the world of television again.
...And, while working for Entercom Radio Longview, living on my aunt and uncle's farm I began writing songs and made
the commitment to continue my musical aspirations after many long years of being frightened about the fact that I didn't think
that I had the talent to perform for people in a musical aspect. I've gotten much good feedback, and people have begun asking
me to write songs for them and their causes.. It feels great! I'm really happy.
